Undead

Undead Elemental Symbol

Undead is an elemental class introduced in the Skylanders series.

Abilities

The Skylanders who are associated with the Undead element are mostly skeletal, ghouls, or creatures who have been corrupted by the element. They use the power of the undead and darkness to aid them in battle. They are strong against Life, but are weak against Magic characters in the Battle Arena. The colors for this element are black and white.

When opening an Undead Gate in Spyro's Adventure, the Undead Skylander calls upon living bones to form a bridge. Undead-based Skylanders stand on a pedestal that resembles a white skull when they're in their toy form. The white skull on the pedestal glows in the dark.

In Giants, spikey bones rise from the ground and act as gates to Undead elemental zones.

Malefor is the Dragon King of the Undead and was the one who corrupted Cynder into doing his evil bidding. He also attempted to capture the elven sorceress Skylander, Hex, but was soon confronted and defeated by her.

Trivia

• The Undead and the Air element are currently the only elements with more than one female Skylander.
• This is the only element to contain more than one elven Skylander.
• In Skylanders: Giants, the music theme from Cadaverous Crypt plays in the Undead elemental gates.
• The non-playable Undead Dragon, Vathek, was going to originally be the undead dragon Skylander of Spyro's Adventure, but the role was already taken by Cynder.
• This is currently the only element to have three female Skylanders (Hex, Cynder and Roller Brawl).
• This is the only element with   one   common alternate form of a Skylander (Legendary Chop Chop).
• None of the Undead Skylanders introduced in Giants have an alter ego.
• This is currently the only element to have allianced characters (Fright Rider and Eye Brawl).
• This is the only element in Giants to contain a few non-speaking Skylanders (Fright of the Fright Rider alliance and the Headless Part of Eye Brawl)
