Template:Characterbox (Skylanders) Template:Q Hex is a dark elf sorceress who is one of the main 32 playable Skylanders in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure.

Abilities

Hex has the ability to summon and cast dark magic and spells. She can also summon large skulls to rain down from the sky down onto her opponents, and bring forth a barrier of bones to protect her from enemy attacks.

Biography

Long ago, Hex was a gifted and powerful elven sorceress who traveled deep into the Underworld to confront the Undead Dragon King named Malefor, who made several attempts to capture her to learn her secrets. Though she successfully battled the dragon and wounded him terribly, Hex returned from the underworld changed – having unwillingly joined the ranks of the Undead. Many are wary of her since her transformation, suspecting she has used her powerful magic for evil purposes. But Eon trusts her, and views her as a most valuable Skylander ally. It has been said Hex has laughed only once since her transformation -- apparently at an incident involving Trigger Happy, Slam Bam, and a gold coin in the rear end.

Starting Powers

• Conjure Phantom Orb (Primary Power): Launch magic orbs of spectral energy that track your foes.
• Rain of Skulls (Secondary Power): Hold the button shown to begin casting this spell. When fully charged, ghostly skulls rain down.

Basic Upgrades

• Wall of Bones (500): Create a Wall of Bones.
• Storm of Skulls (700): Conjure up to 4 skulls with your Rain of Skulls attack.
• Bone Fortress (900): The Wall of Bones is larger and takes more damage to destroy.
• Twice the Orbage (1200): Shoot 2 Phantom Orbs at once.

Shade Master - This upgrade path lets you further develop your Phantom Orb attack.

• Long Distance Orbs (1700): Increase the range of your Phantom Orbs.
• Caustic Phantom Orbs (2200): Phantom Orbs do increased damage.
• Unstable Phantom Orbs (3000): Phantom Orbs explode, damaging nearby enemies.

Bone Crafter - This upgrade path lets you further develop your Rain of Skulls and Wall of Bones abilities.

• Compound Fracture (1700): Wall of Bones damages any enemies that touches it.
• Master Caster (2200): Takes much less time to cast Rain of Skulls and Wall of Bones.
• Troll Skulls (3000): Rain of Skulls does increased damage.

Soul Gem Upgrade

• Skull Shield (4000): Rain of Skulls knocks away enemies and attacks. This upgrade requires the Soul Gem in Cadaverous Crypt.

Skylanders gain new abilities automatically based on their level.
Starting Powers

• Sprectral Spheres (Primary Attack): Cast a spehere of spectral energy at your enemies.
• Spook Summoning (Secondary Attack): Gather otherwordly spirits around Hex. Project the spirits at nearby enemies. Hex can summon up to three spirits at once.

• She bears a slight resemblence to Maleficent from Disney's Sleeping Beauty.
• It is unknown if Hex is a Drow, but judging by the fact that she is a blue skinned elf, it is highly possible.
