Voodood

Template:Characterbox (Skylanders) Template:Q Voodood is an orc warrior who is one of the main 32 playable Skylanders in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure.

Abilties

Voodood attacks his enemies using his staff, the legendary Axe Reaver, which streams with magical energy. He can also use the grappling hook on his staff to latch onto his opponents, electrocuting them while he pulls himself towards their position to finish them off.

Biography

Ever since he was a young orc, Voodood has collected rare and interesting bones that he uses to create weapons and devices - his favorite being the grappling hook, which grants him tremendous agility in combat. During his rite of passage, he entered the Cave of Trials to prove his worth. It was there he found much more than expected. Lured by a brilliant light, Voodood discovered the skeleton of an enormous dragon with an ornate axe buried where the heart would have been. The village was astonished when he exited the cave holding the legendary Axe Reaver and wearing the dragon skull on his head. Voodood quickly became the warrior leader, a highly-decorated and brave soldier who once commanded a well-known team of dangerous warriors and defended his homeland from many beasts and invaders... until he was the last of his tribe. Soon after, he joined the Skylanders. When not fighting evil, Voodood is constantly searching for new and exotic bones to expand his collection.

Role

Skylanders: The Beginning

Voodood was among one of the Skylanders who arrived at the Core of Light when Kaos was approaching, hearing the news from Spyro that the tyrant had returned to destroy Skylands. He participated in the battle against Kaos' army along with the other Skylanders, aiding Chop Chop and Terrafin. However, the Skylanders were overpowered, allowing Kaos to destroy the Core of Light and banishing the heroes to Earth.

Trivia

• Orcs are almost always depicted as evil brutes, so Voodood is quite possibly the only orc in history to be portrayed as a good character.
• Voodood's face resembles Dr. Seuss' The Grinch.
• He slightly resembles the Green Goblin from Spider Man.
• Similar to Zap, Voodood's eyes are orange in toy form and trailer shots, but are yellow in-game.
