Personality
It is mentioned that Zap is a friendly water dragon, being quite revered by the majority of Skylands' sea creatures who see him as a true dedicated guardian of both the seas and Skylands.
Abilities
As his name suggests and despite being a water-elemental character, Zap can breathe blasts of electricity and spew electrical surges of water at his disposal, due to him being raised by electric eels. He can also leave a trail of electrical slime behind him to electrocute enemies.

- Prior to his official name being revealed, fans who like Skylanders called Zap the 'Water Dragon'.
- Zap's promotional art shows that his eyes are red, and they are orange in toy form, but in the game, they are yellow.
