Flameslinger

Template:Characterbox (Skylanders) Template:Q Flameslinger is an elven archer who is one of the main 32 playable Skylanders in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure.

Abilities

Flameslinger has the ability to infuse his arrows in flames and launch them at his enemies. He can also leave a trail of fire behind him. When he circles around an enemy while leaving a trail of flames, a torrent of fire erupts around the enemy, burning it.

Biography

Flameslinger is an Elven archer with incredible aim. In fact, he is so good that he wears a blindfold just to prove it. When he was young, he rescued a fire spirit from a watery doom and was gifted an enchanted bow and magical fire boots that he now masterfully uses to defeat evil throughout Skylands. With the scorched earth he leaves behind, you can always tell where he has been.

Role

Skylanders: The Beginning

Flameslinger was one of the Skylanders who participated in the battle against Kaos and his army. However, the Skylanders were overwhelmed, allowing Kaos to destroy the Core of Light and banishing the Skylanders to Earth where they were turned into toys.

Searing Arrow		Column of Fire		Volley Shot		Hyper Shot
[4]Price: 500 Fire Arrows do increased damage.		[5]Price: 700 Draw a circle with the Flame Dash to create a fire column. Flame Dash does extra damage.		[6]Price: 900 Fire Flaming Arrow Rain down on your enemies.		[7]Price: 1200 Shoot Fire Arrows much faster.

MarksmanThis upgrade path lets you further develop Flameslinger's Fire Arrow skills.

Hellfire Arrows		Explosive Arrows		Triple Shot Arrows
[8]Price: 1700 Fire Arrows and Flaming Arrow Rain do even more increased damage.		[9]Price: 2200 Fire Arrows explode, doing damage to anything nearby.		[10]Price: 3000 Shoot 3 Fire Arrows at a time.

PyromancerThis upgrade path lets Legendary Bash further develop Flamelinger's damage skills.

Napalm Tipped Arrows		Inferno Blast		Continental Boulder
[11]Price: 1700 Fire Arrows leave behind a burning patch, damaging enemies that touch it.		[12]Price: 2200 Hold the primary button to charge a flaming Inferno attack, then release to fire it.		[13]Price: 3000 Drawing a circle with the Flame Dash causes fire to spread out, doing more damage.

Trivia

• Due to the fact his eyes are constantly blindfolded, it is unknown how he can get around so well. It could be that the blindfold is somewhat transparent and/or he gets around with incredible hearing due to his large elf ears.
• He could have night vision like Stealth Elf, but it can't be told because he always has his eyes covered.
• Flameslinger slightly resembles Kenshi from Mortal Kombat as both are blindfolded and have ways of knowing their surroundings.
  • He resembles Legolas from Lord of the Rings.
