Eruptor

Template:Characterbox (Skylanders) Template:Q Eruptor is a lava monster who is one of the main 32 playable Skylanders in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure.

Personality

Eruptor is hot-headed and strongly dislikes evil doers. He enjoys relaxing in the lava pools in order to help control his temper. He also has a habit of burping uncontrollably as shown in the boomtime commercial for Skylanders, something Terrafin reprimanded him for.

Abilities

Eruptor has the power to hurl and spew fireballs of molten rock, and unleash a lava plume all around him like a volcanic eruption.

Biography

Eruptor is a force of nature, hailing from a species that lived deep in the underground of a floating volcanic island until a massive eruption launched their entire civilization to the surface. He's a complete hot head -- steaming, fuming, and quite literally erupting over almost anything. To help control his temper, he likes to relax in lava pools, particularly because there are no crowds.

Role

Skylanders: The Beginning

Template:Q Eruptor took notice of Kaos approaching, accidentally belching up a pool of lava as soon as he said Kaos' name. He joins the other Skylanders at the Core of Light in time to hear Spyro tell the news that Kaos had returned to destroy Skylands. Eruptor then took part in the battle against Kaos' army, belching up a pool of lava on a charging Cyclops Chopper before being attacked by another Cyclops. However, the Skylanders were soon overpowered by Kaos' army, allowing Kaos to destroy the Core of Light; its destruction sending the Skylanders out of Skylands to Earth where they were turned into toys and discovered by a human boy.

Skylanders can buy new abilities from Persephone in the Ruins.

Starting Powers

• Lava Lob (Primary Power): Lob blobs of lava at your enemies.
• Eruption (Secondary Power): Erupt into a pool of lava damaging enemies all around you.

Basic Upgrades

• Big Blob Lava Throw (500): Lava Blob attack gets bigger and does increased damage.
• Fiery Remains (700): Lava Blobs leave behind pools of flame when they hit the ground.
• Eruption-Flying Tephra (900): Lava balls shoot out while performing the Eruption attack.
• Magma Ball (1200): Spit out Magma Balls.

Magmantor - This upgrade path lets you further develop skill with Lava Blob and Magma Balls.

• Heavy Duty Plasma (1700): Lava Blobs bounce and travel furhter.
• Lava Blob Bomb (2200): Lava Blobs explode and damage nearby enemies.
• Beasts of Conflagration (3000): Lava Blobs do increased damage in the form of a fiery beast.

Volcanor - This upgrade path lets you further develop your Eruption attacks.

• Quick Eruption (1700): It takes much less time to perform an Eruption attack.
• Pyroxysmal Super Eruption (2200): Eruption attack does increased damage.
• Revenge of Prometheus (3000): Eruption causes small volcanoes to form, doing extra damage.

Soul Gem Upgrade

• Mega Magma Balls (4000): Shoot up to 3 Magma Balls at a time that do extra damage. This upgrade requires the Soul Gem in Lava Lakes Railway.

Other Abilities

• Eruptor can walk through lava fields.
• Eruptor's attacks temporarily lights up darkened areas in the Crawling Catacombs.
