The Elements are the main breath weapon in The Legend of Spyro series. Each dragon can master only a single element, but Purple Dragons have the ability to master all of the elements, and other abilities that aren't possible. The main elements are Fire, Ice, Electricity, and Earth, although another element, Wind, has been mentioned. Aether is also an element.

Uncommon elements, such as Shadow, Poison, and Fear, were granted to Cynder due to her exposure to Malefor's corruption.
