Fire, also known as Flame, is one of Spyro's two main attacks, the other being charging. He is only capable of these two forms of attack until later in the series when other breath types are introduced such as Ice, Electricity, and Bubble.
Throughout the original series, Spyro has been armed with the power to breath fire. This typical dragon ability has evolved over time to include mastery of other elements. These are Ice, Electricity, Bubble, and Water. However, it was not until the The Legend of Spyro series that the Fire Breath developed different abilities.
In the Skylanders series, although Spyro has the ability to master the other elements of Skylands, he prefers to master Fire.
Trivia
