From the Spyro Wiki, the Spyro and Skylanders encyclopedia
Sierra Entertainment was an American game publisher and developer. Its parent company was Vivendi Games. On July 10, 2008, Sierra closed down when Activision and Vivendi Games merged to create Activision Blizzard.[1]
