Whale

The Whale is a neutral animal that swims within the lake in Evening Lake in Spyro: Year of the Dragon. If Spyro gets too close to it the first time, it will open it's mouth and suck Spyro inside. Inside the belly, Spyro will come to find a Dragon Egg with a baby Dragon called Jonah, and if Spyro swims out through it's mouth, the Whale will barf him out. The While will not swallow Spyro again after this. In the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, the whale is now wearing yellow swim shorts and would open and close it's mouth, even after Spyro recovered the Dragon Egg within it's belly. Unlike in the original game where inside the belly is the spine, the tongue and mouth, the reignited version has more detail such as crates, barnacles and even an underwater wall lamp, similar to the ones found outside.
