Skill Point
From the Spyro Wiki, the Spyro and Skylanders encyclopedia
Skill Points are random objectives you can perform through Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage and Spyro: Year of the Dragon. They are usually things such as breaking a record, or destroying all of a certain item, or even just doing something completely random such as jumping on a specific area. You are awarded an extra life for every Skill Point. Once all Skill Points have been accommodated for, an extra page in the book is added, called 'Epilogue', and shows what happened after the events of the game.
There are 16 Skill Points in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage, and 20 in Spyro: Year of the Dragon.
