From the Spyro Wiki, the Spyro and Skylanders encyclopedia
Template:Items (Original) The Guidebook is a book that shows the number of gems, orbs, skill points, collections, kills, the collected Talismans, and the levels in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage!. It was given to Spyro by Elora at his arrival in Avalar.
In later installments, the Guidebook is replaced by the Atlas.
