Sheila's Alp

Template:PlaceOriginal Sheila's Alp is the home of the first alternate playable character Spyro meets in Spyro: Year of the Dragon, Sheila.

After Sheila's Captivity

When Sheila returns to her home after being locked up, she finds that the Alp has been overrun by Rhynocs. Billy, Bobby and Pete are Mountain Goats that live in the Alp, and have been kicked out of their houses by the Rhynocs.

Scenery

Sheila's Alp is an extremely mountainous level, with Sheila finding the need to climb every few steps. The goats live in many typical Swiss cabins and wear traditional Swiss clothes. The grass is a lush green, with flowers scattered around the ground. There are many pine trees in this level, giving an authentic mountain feel. There are small birds in this level, the Fodder, which are smaller than, but not too dissimilar to the Blue Footed Boobies in Harbor Speedway. This level has a sky very similar to the one seen in Sunrise Springs.

Rhynocs

The Rhynocs in this level are wearing dark green shorts and hats with a single red feather sticking from them. They are also carrying picks, which they use to attack Sheila.

Sheila

• "Thanks again, Spyro! Now I have to find out what that nasty Sorceress has done to our home while I was locked up."
• "I better go check on those billy goats again. Last time I left them alone, they ate all the shingles off the roof."
• "I still haven't finished getting all the billy goats home yet."
• "I'll be back as soon as I get all 3 billy goats home."
• "Whoo! That was fun! I tell you, Spyro, kicking Rhynoc butt just never gets old!"
• "Well, I'm off to clean off the mess those Rhynocs left behind."
• "Goodbye, Spyro! I'm sure I'll see you around."

Mountain Goats

• "Hiya, Sheila! While you were gone, a bunch of Rhynocs kicked us out of our houses! It's okay, though. Bobby, Pete and I are working on a clever plant to get them back!"
• "Follow Bobby and Pete up there using your air hop. It's easy. Just press the X button again at the top of your jump."
• "You see that Rhynoc guy up ahead? He's still mad at us for hanging his underpants on top of this tree. ..hehehehe.. We'll just wait over here while you give him a swift kick!"
• "You can get up really steep cliffs like this one with your double jump. Press the X button to jump, and press it again exactly when you hit the ground to do the double jump! Once you mastered it, you can go anywhere you want!"
• "Last time we tried to get past this moose, he knocked Billy clean through a wall! If you don't mind, we'll just hang out here while you give him a good kicking."
• "This next guy is a wuss! You go ahead and take him out. We got your back."
• "Those Rhynocs have taken over! There'll be no stopping them unless we can smash the huts! The huts are too big to smash with your kick attack, though. Try using your stomp attack to smash them instead. I'll confuse them with taunting while you stomp the huts, okay? You remember how to stomp, don'tcha? Just jump and press the triangle button in the air."
• "I think my taunting is wearing them down! ..hehehe... Remember, just jump and press the triangle button to stomp those huts."
• "Don't worry, I'll just keep kicking this rock until it breaks."
• "Thanks for the help, Sheila! You can have this egg I found in my house!"
• "Hey Sheila, let's play a joke. Take this egg and smash it at Billy's house, okay? I need to get him back for the last time he butted me off a cliff."
• "Ahh, home at last. Here, I was saving this to make an omelet, but I think you deserve it more."
