Golem (character)
The Golem is an ancient earth golem from the deep. He is the embodiment of destruction summoned by Malefor himself.
Appearences
The Golem was only seen in The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon and he was seen trying to crush Spyro and Cynder after they awoke from their 3 year hibernation. The golem seemed to have a weak spot on it's hand which is where the teenage dragons hurt it so it swam away in the lava.
Later, when Hunter the cheetah came in and rescued the young dragons, the golem attacked again on the stepping stone bridge. It pounded the dragons into the wall and could not reach them so it swam away in the lava.
Then, it rised again when Cynder and Spyro were climbing up some vines on the wall to reach Hunter. Once the dragons got to their safety, the golem seemed to disappear. . .
The Golem was not seen again until he launched an attack on the Dragon City. He smashed into the city, gathering up rubble for a new Hand, and attacked the City. Cyril, Volteer, Terrador and Ignitus defended Spyro from the Monster but they soon were defeated. But Ignitus showed Spyro and Cynder a small bump on the Golem's Head. Spyro and Cynder tore the bump off and destroyed the Crystal inside. The Golem fell off the building and died when he hit the floor.
Description
The Golem is a Gigantic Rock-Lava Creature summoned by Malefor. He had glowing Orange eyes, a long Tail [Which he often used as a whip], Spider-Like Legs and a muscular, bulky body with streams of lava. He seems to run on the energy of Dark Crystals, as he has Dark Crystals on his hands, in his head and possibly his eyes [As when Hunter shot an arrow in his eye a dark purple glow emerged from his eyes as he roared in pain.]
Relations
The Golem is possibly related to The Destroyer as they both are Lava-Rock monsters and look very similar, only the fact the Destroyer is taller. The Golem is also related to Malefor, not physically, as Hunter says in the Catacombs "It is an Ancient Earth Golem from the deep, summoned by Malefor himself."
