Belt of Fire

The Belt of Fire is a barrier of fire that surrounds Malefor's domain in The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon. It is empowered by dark magic, and its heat is so intense that not even a dragon master of the fire element can withstand its flames.
When The Destroyer crossed the Belt of Fire, the barrier became temporarily weakened. This allowed Spyro and Cynder to get through before its strength returned. The Belt of Fire would soon spread throughout the world when the Destroyer completed its journey, slowly destroying the planet, until Spyro used his power to stop the destruction and rebuild the world.
