Terrafin is a dirt shark who is one of the main 32 playable Skylanders in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure. He is available only in the Pirate Seas Adventure Pack.
Abilities
Terrafin has the ability to burrow through the ground and shoot out of it to leap high into the air and bodyslam his enemies. He also boxes and punches his opponents, having trained himself in the art of boxing.
Terrafin is primarily a close-range fighter Skylander. His Punches and Bellyflops are devastating at close range, and his Earth Swim ability allows him to close distance on enemies easily and safely. His Feeding Frenzy mini-shark technique also gives him some power even at a distance. His upgrade paths allow him to improve his burrowing and minisharks, or his close-combat melee abilities.

Biography
Terrafin hails from The Dirt Seas, where it was common to swim, bathe, and even snorkel beneath the ground. But a powerful explosion in the sky created a blast wave that turned the ocean of sand into a vast sheet of glass, putting an end to Terrafin's duty as the local lifeguard. Not one to stay idle, the brawny dirt shark found himself training in the art of boxing, and not long after he was local champ. Fighters came from all around to challenge him, but it was a chance meeting with a great Portal Master that led him to give up his title for a greater purpose.
Terrafin was also the first Skylander Drill Sergeant met. While burrowing, the dirt shark collided into the buried Drill Sergeant that caused the Arkeyan's systems to fire up again. By Arkeyan custom, Drill Sergeant was then obligated to become Terrafin's servant, but the dirt shark didn't like the idea, so Terrafin's first order as master was for Drill Sergeant to not serve him at all.
Role
Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure
Terrafin participated in the battle against Kaos' minions to protect the Core of Light along with the other Skylanders. He stops a lone Cyclops Chopper from fleeing before defeating it with a few swift punches. Terrafin then ate one of the XP orbs that were left behind by the defeated Cyclop Chopper and burrows through the ground, taking out a few enemies in his way with his dorsal fin. He then started chasing down a small group of Cyclops Choppers before leaping out of the ground and bodyslamming them to nothingness. Along with the other Skylanders, Terrafin was sent to Earth after the Core of Light was destroyed, and became frozen as a toy due to the world's lack of magic, awaiting for the new Portal Master to help him and the Skylanders save Skylands.
When Kaos and his army were approaching, Terrafin was one of the Skylanders who gathered at the Core of Light in time to hear the news from Spyro that Kaos had returned to destroy Skylands. Upon hearing this, the dirt shark reveals that Kaos owes him five dollars, itching for a fight. The Skylanders, under Spyro's leadership, charged into battle against Kaos' army, and Terrafin is seen bellyflopping on a Cyclops Chopper, exclaiming 'Boom!' to sound-effect his devastating blow. However, the Skylanders were overwhelmed, allowing Kaos to destroy the Core of Light; its destruction blowing the Skylanders out of Skylands. He, along with the other Skylanders, were turned into a toy upon entering Earth's atmosphere where he would soon be found by a human boy along with the other Skylanders.
