Zook is a Bambazooker who is one of the main 32 playable Skylanders in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure.

Zook uses a bazooka to attack his enemies and can form a wall made of mushrooms to protect himself.

Biography
Zook hails from a strange and unusual species called Bambazookers, who once lived their entire lives standing in place... until Zook discovered they could walk simply by stepping out of the mud. After that, he became a wandering hero, seeking peace, tranquility and interesting things to blow up with his hand-carved bamboo tube. He uses his multi-purpose bamboo tube for pretty much everything, including a telescope and a didgeridoo... and of course, a bazooka, which fires special explosive thorns grown in a secret bramble patch known only to his people. Campfire songs were even written about him, although Zook would have preferred some nice haiku poetry if given a choice. Now, Zook spends him time as a Skylander, figuring he can be an even bigger hero and have even more songs written about him.
Role
Zook was one of the Skylanders who arrived at the Core of Light when Kaos and his army were approaching, hearing the news from Spyro that Kaos had returned to destroy Skylands. Zook participated in the battle against Kaos' army, firing a bazooka at a group of enemies, but is suddenly attacked by a Cyclops Chopper. However, the Skylanders were overwhelmed, allowing Kaos to destroy the Core of Light and banishing the Skylanders to Earth where they were turned into toys.
Powers and Upgrades
Skylanders can buy new abilities from Persephone in the Ruins.
Starting Powers
- Bazooka Attack (Primary Power): Press and hold your primary power button to fire Bazooka Shells that explode into shrapnel. Hold down the button to extend the range.
- Foliage Barrier (Secondary Power): Grow a barricade made of plants to protect yourself.
Basic Upgrades
- Hardwood Shells (500): Bazooka Shells and shrapnel do increased damage.
- Fungal Bloom (700): Barrier is stronger and takes longer for enemies to destroy.
- Mortar Bomb (900): Launch a Mortar attack.
- Full Splinter Jacket (1200): Bazooka shells create more shrapnel.
Artilleryman - This upgrade path lets you further develop your Bazooka attacks.
- High Velocity Shrapnel (1700): Bazooka shrapnel has longer range.
- Old Growth Bazooka (2200): Bazooka shells and shrapnel do even more increased damage.
- Exploding Shrapnel (3000): Bazooka shrapnel explodes on contact, damaging nearby enemies.
Floral Defender - This upgrade path lets you further develop your Barrier and Cactus abilities.
- Cactus Barrier (1700): Barrier does damage to any enemy that touches it.
- Mortar of Life (2200): Mortar attack grows a Cactus where the shell explodes.
- Fightin' Foliage (3000): Barriers and Cacti knock enemies back and do damage.
Soul Gem Upgrade
- MIRV Mortar (4000): Mortar shells explode into 3 smaller shells. This upgrade requires the Soul Gem found in Troll Warehouse.
Skylanders gain new abilities automatically based on their level.
