Jackal
From the Spyro Wiki, the Spyro and Skylanders encyclopedia
Jackals[1] are dog-like enemies that are only found in the Haunted Tomb in Spyro: Year of the Dragon.
They are dark blue, have green eyes, and wear chest-plates to absorb flames, but are usually statue-like when they blink and look around, and stand firm when they don't move. If Spyro gets too close to them, they will come alive and attack him, as they start charging toward him and attempting to poke him with their pointed ears. They will only be killed by charging at them, due to the chest-plates that they wear absorbing flames.
