Water is a natural element in the world of The Legend of Spyro.

Trivia

  • Water was planned to be one of the four main elements Spyro would use alongside Fire, Electricity and Earth, but was replaced by the Ice element.[1]
    • In addition, Cyril was originally planned to be female and a Guardian of the Water element, but was changed to male to give him a harder edge visually and to make Cynder feel more unique and 'other' when set against all the existing Guardians.[1][2]
  • Jared Pullen speculates that Water dragons are affable and flexible compared to their more aloof and elitist Ice dragon 'cousins'.[3]
