In Spyro: A Hero's Tail

Explosive Chests[1] are a type of treasure chest filled with explosives. They first appear in Spyro the Dragon and have reappeared in Spyro: A Hero's Tail. Whenever Spyro goes near an Explosive Chest, he must use his flame breath to light the fuse of the explosives. Within a few seconds, the Explosive Chest explodes, causing some gems to fly out. If Spyro is within the range of the explosion, he takes damage.
