Dr. Neo Cortex is the main antagonist in the Crash Bandicoot franchise, who appears in both Spyro Orange: The Cortex Conspiracy and Crash Bandicoot Purple: Ripto's Rampage: both games focused on how he teamed up with Ripto, one of the main antagonists in Spyro's story. Spyro must fight him in Wumpa Jungle in The Cortex Conspiracy.
Dr. Neo Cortex later made a return in Skylanders: Imaginators as a Tech-elemental Sensei. When he created a sinister machine to harness the incredible energy from the Synchronization Celebration for his own evil purposes, Cortex could only watch as it went completely haywire courtesy of Fake Crash. Now, Dr. Neo Cortex must partner with Crash Bandicoot to stop the machine before Wumpa Islands are completely shaken apart!
