Gear Grinder Robots are enemies that are appeared only in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! and found in Hurricos. They are machines created by the Gear Grinders that are invulnerable to normal flames due to their metal armor, but can be destroyed by charging. They emit a siren upon sighting Spyro and will proceed to attack him with their weapons.

  • Gear Grinder Robots might of been the inspiration for Clank from the Ratchet & Clank franchise as they normally appear alongside the Gear Grinders who carry a wrench similar to Ratchet's OmniWrench.
  • In Spyro Reignited Trilogy, instead of one arm resembling a wrench and the other a spike, both of their arms see designed to resemble wrenches.
