In order to get past them, Spyro has to get enough gems for Moneybags to use his specially crafted sub that has the appearance of a robot shark. If Spyro tries to get near one of them, they will bite him, causing him to lose a life instantly. Fortunately, Spyro is able to destroy them with his superflame breath.
