In the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, gameplay and environment changes were made as a form of creative decision.
Spyro the Dragon
- In Reignited, all the captive dragons were given different character designs.
- Thor's original "Thank you for releasing me!" dialogue has been changed to an explanation on where to check your progress.
- In Dr. Shemp, the Kamikaze Tribesmen's metal masks were changed to tin cans.
- Gnorc-Adiers in Haunted Towers carry bombs instead of grenades.
- The Gnorc Commandos weapons now fire acid.
Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage!
- Mr. Bones' dancing sequence has changed, now accompanied by air horns.
- The Lava Lizard knocks the Bonebuilder with the camera with it's tail in the Skelos Badlands outro.
Spyro: Year of the Dragon
- In a desperate rescue begins, the dragon strikes Hunter with his tail instead of his foot.
- Sgt. James Byrd, Bentley and Agent 9 were given new dialogue in the cutscenes before the boss.
- Spear Rhynocs' spears now are metal fists.
- Crossbow Rhynocs have plungers as ammunition instead of arrows.
