Template:Characterbox The Idol Monsters, known as Tiki Monsters in Year of the Dragon, are enemies that appear in the level Idol Springs, in the game Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage. They were originally statues carved by the Green Colosi, but unfortunatly, they came to life and have started terrorizing the locals. The Idols took over the native's temples and stopped all of them from working. The leader of the group took some of his allies and imprisoned some female native dancers. Spyro had to save them so the could do a rain dance and vanquish the leader.
The Idol Monsters were also reintroduced in Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly at Luau Island. Along with the Riptocs, they imprisoned the tourists and planned to eat them. They would vocalize a loud questioning noise when you came to near.
