- January 18, 2022: Microsoft has purchased Activision and now owns the rights to the Spyro franchise.
- June 9, 2021: Spyro, along with Dark Spyro, have been confirmed to appear in Crash Bandicoot: On the Run on Season 3, starting June 11.
- December 3, 2020: A revamp of Skylanders: Ring of Heroes has been released.
- July 21, 2020: An artbook for Spyro Reignited Trilogy, titled The Art of Spyro Reignited Trilogy, has been released.
- September 3, 2019: Spyro Reignited Trilogy has been released for Windows and Nintendo Switch worldwide.
- August 30, 2019: Spyro & Friends Grand Prix ran as a limited event for Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, and it introduced Spyro the Dragon, Hunter the Cheetah and Gnasty Gnorc as unlockable characters.
