In the Games

Spyro the Dragon

In the logo screen for Spyro the Dragon, a gnorc holds up a sign that has the original logo of Insomniac on it. After he plants the sign in the ground, the gnorc screams when he sees Spyro flying at him, and is thrown off the mountain he was on by the purple dragon.

Ripto's Rage!

In the logo screen for Ripto's Rage!, a bonebuilder is leaning on the sign until a dinosaur comes along and snaps it into pieces while attempting to eat the bonebuilder. Then, the title appears and the dinosaur runs into it.

Year of the Dragon

In the logo screen for Year of the Dragon, a ninja rhynoc is hiding behind the sign and it tries to steal an egg, but Spyro charges him. The egg flys up breaks the Insomniac sign and stops rolling in front of Spyro.

Trivia

  • Although Insomniac Games developed the first three Spyro games, they never owned the rights to Spyro as most fans speculated. Universal Interactive in fact did own the rights during the time when Insomniac were making the games.
