Charmed Ridge is a realm in the Evening Lake world, whose portal had broken down, and needed 58 eggs to be re-opened.
During the Egg Hunt
When Spyro entered Charmed Ridge, it was under attack by the Cat Wizards of Felinia, lead by Prince Azrael, who wants to make the fairy princess his bride. Spyro defeated the cat wizards, but he discovered that Ami was in love with Azrael, and gave the dragon an egg if he promised not to tell the other fairies that they'd eloped.
Sgt. James Byrd's girlfriend Isabelle was an inhabitant of the Ridge, and during the invasion, they were supposed to meet up for a date, which was ruined by the Cat Witches.
