Dante's Freezer is an arctic continent located some kilometers away from the Dragon Temple, only appearing in The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning. It is unknown if the stronghold surrounding the island was built by the Dragons, by the Trolls or the Apes, but it seems that it has fallen into the hands of the latter. This is where Cynder imprisoned Volteer to drain his electric elemental powers, and also where the island is ruled by the Ice King.
Story
History
The Ice Guardian Cyril had watched over Dante's Freezer for an unknown period of time, fighting off the forces of the Dark Master.[1]
The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning
Ignitus sent Spyro to Dante's Freezer to free Volteer from Cynder's imprisonment. During their trek through the island, Spyro gained the elemental power of Electricity. The ruler of the island is the Ice King, but he was killed by Spyro in order to save Volteer.
