Template:Characterbox Template:Q Atlawas are the natives to Tall Plains, who only appeared in The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning. They raise crops and focus their relationship with their gods as well as their surroundings. Their leader is Kane.
Lifestyle
Atlawas work in corn fields and raise crops because the wet climate of Tall Plains gives good opportunities for farming. They live in tribes and it is possible that they don't have a military force. They worship gods for a bountiful harvest. Their lifestyle ended when Cynder invaded Tall Plains and imprisioned them, but they were saved by Spyro and possibly went back to their peaceful lifestyle.
Role
Ignitus sends Spyro to Tall Plains to rescue Cyril after he returns with Volteer. There, after defeating most of Cynder's forces and helping Kane, the leader of the Atlawas through the plains, Spyro catches sight of Cynder herself flying away with a powered crystal in her claws. Spyro pushes on and finds Cyril, but he is forced to fight the Stone Sentinel, a creature worshiped by the native Atlawas as a god who was angered at having its resting place disturbed by Cynder's actions.
Once Spyro freed Cyril, the Ice Guardian hurried them back to the temple to be away from the 'primitive and barbaric' company they were currently in with the Atlawas.
