After halting the Destroyer using the water released from the Dam, Spyro and Cynder launch a full-scale attack on the creature. They must destroy the Dark Crystals planted around and inside the Destroyer's body in order to progress and defeat it. However, in their way are Malefor's Grublin army who attemp to stop Spyro and Cynder from succeeding.

Trivia

  • Strangely we don't see the Guardians nor other aerial dragons attack the Destroyer despite Terrador commanding the troops to attack it in the cutscene prior to the level itself.
  • At certain points in the level, the Destroyer rains down fireballs that damage Spyro and Cynder.
