Character Design
When playing as Hunter, you can clearly see that he is wearing a pilot's cap. If you look carefully, you can also see that he has goggles over his eyes.

Trivia
- In the non-Greatest Hits and PAL versions, Mushroom Speedway shares its theme with the other three speedways. In the Greatest Hits version, the speedway get its own theme, as well as two of the others, with Harbor Speedway keeping the theme they have in the normal version.
- The level has the same background as Ocean Speedway.
- If Hunter is being hit by the UFOs, he can be heard screaming.
