Mowat is a citizen of the Enchanted Towers in Spyro: Year of the Dragon. He requests that Spyro helps find his pet, Farley the Wolf. After he is returned Mowat will give the purple dragon a Dragon Egg for his hard work. He hasn't appeared in any other game since.

His name, as well as the name of his wolf Farley may be recerence to Canadian environmentalist Farley Mowat. This is supported when Mowat says "Never cry wolf", which is the name of one of Farley Mowat's books.
