The Mantaray is an animal vehicle that was first used in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! as Hunter's pet. Being the perfect size to ride on the manta's back, Spyro uses the manta ray to complete minigames and sidequests, through Spyro: Year of the Dragon, and later Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly.
