Template:PlaceOriginal Winter Tundra is the third and last homeworld of Avalar in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage!. As its name implies, it composes of a tundra setting: snow, few vegetation, and a midnight setting while calm music plays. In this world there is a castle with a long set of stairs and the superportal. Outside of the castle, there are two caves and and a secret waterfall. This is the world where the player faces Ripto, the final boss.

World Description

Winter Tundra is the last homeworld of Avalar. It has a beautiful wintery theme and a big grey castle-which Ripto has taken over. Once you pay Moneybags 1,000 gems to learn how to headbash, you must headbash the rock in front of you to enter the main part of the world, where you will see the large Dragon Shores portal which has not yet been opened, stairs to Ripto's Arena and some tunnels. One leads to Metropolis, one to Canyon Speedway. Unlike Summer Forest and Autumn Plains, Winter Tundra is quite small. Music by Stuwart Copeland.
