Cyril is the Ice Guardian Dragon of the Legend of Spyro series.
Personality
Cyril is aloof and prideful, he constantly brags about his distant ancestral royal blood. He harbors a carefully cultivated cynicism, which he uses as a defense and radar for the rest of the Guardians. He questions decisions by others, but will always rally to the cause. Cyril likes to reserve the opportunity to say, "I told you so", if and when things do go wrong. Ignitus and Volteer both don't like his snobbish behavior and keeps their distance from him, but Terrador seems to not mind at all.
Story
A New Beginning
Cyril was one of the four Guardians who guarded the Dragon eggs inside the Dragon Temple. When the Temple was under attack by the Dark Master's army, Cyril fought alongside with Volteer and Terrador, to defend the Temple. When Ignitus came back, Cyril and the other Guardians have been overrunned.
Cyril fought alongside with the Dragon Army to fight against the dark army, led by a large black dragon named Cynder. Cynder managed to take down all the Dragons and captured the Guardians except Ignitus. Cynder took Cyril to Tall Plains so she can drain his power of ice into a crystal.
Spyro eventually rescued Cyril and returned to the Temple and trained Spyro the art of ice.
When Spyro was about to go to Cynder's lair, Cyril swallowed a little bit of his pride and said it is time for Spyro to lead and spark hope for the new era.
The Eternal Night
When the Temple was under attack by Gaul's army, Volteer and the others fought back and drove them out. After the invasion, Cyril couldn't believe, as well as the other Guardians, that the Chronicler existed and sent visions to Spyro. Ignitus sent Cyril with Volteer to go to the mainlands to learn what news they can.
