A Manweersmall

Manweersmalls are the natives of Munition's Forge. They live underground and mine metals, their current leader is Mole-Yair.

Description

Their appearance is that of a mole. Manweersmalls are small, grey and have sharp claws on both hands and legs. They have large snouts and they can dig very well, however it is possible that they use tools like shovels for diging also. Manweersmalls have good hearing and a sharp sence of smell however they can't see very well so they wear iron hats with candels on the top for a better vision. Also when they speak, they tend to have a French accent. The name of their species is a play on the man, we're small'.

Lifestyle

Manweersmalls spend most of their time underground mining metals but they will occasionaly come out on the surface. This lifestyle abruptly ended when Cynder and her Ape army attacked Munition's Forge, intending to create more weapons for her army, and imprisoned most of the Manweersmalls and used them as cheap labour. They mined for her until Spyro freed them, and when Cynder's rule over the island ended, their lifestyle was restored.

The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning

Spyro's first encounter with the Manweersmalls was at Munitions Forge. There he met Mole-Yair who gave him the task to free the other Manweersmalls, and in exchange Mole-Yair gave Spyro the location of Exhumor, Mole-Yair's brother, who knew where Terrador was held. The Manweersmalls returned to their underground home after they were freed.

The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night

Mole-Yair and a small group of his folk were captured by the Pirates, the same group that captured Spyro and Sparx. Since they weren't made for fighting, the Manweersmalls were enslaved to serve grog to the pirates. After the ship was attacked by Gaul's Ape army, Spyro freed Mole-Yair and his comrades who then fled the burning ship back to their homeland.

The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon

Moles appear in the third installments instead of the Manweersmalls.
