- Headbash the large rock near Molten Crater, the egg is inside.

Glitches and Errors
There is a glitch where you use the super-fly powerup to fly up and land in the lake without swimming This will enable you to breathe fire and walk normally while in water. However, the Start button will not work for the duration of this glitch.
Etymology
Sunrise Spring is named because of both Spyro 2 and Spyro 3's homeworld naming schemes. In Spyro 2, a Spring homeworld was absent, so they incorperated the name into the first Spyro 3 homeworld. 'Spring' comes from Spyro 3's naming scheme, which uses the time of day.
