Flight

Flight is one of Spyro's unique abilities. Being a dragon, he is able to fly freely using his wings, but onlyfree flies in certain levels such as Speedways.

Original Spyro

In the Original Spyro series, Spyro is able to free fly in Speedways and certain special levels throughout the series.

A Superfly powerup is available in some of the Spyro games, temporarily allowing Spyro to fly freely.

The Legend of Spyro

The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon

Spyro, along with Cynder, is able to fly at anytime, making Dawn of the Dragon the first Spyro game to have free-flight available throughout the game.

Skylanders

One of Spyro's upgrades in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure, is Flight. It is currently unknown how this upgrade will turn out, but is speculated to allow Spyro to fly above the ground freely.
