Spyro breathing fire

Fire, also known as Flame, is one of Spyro's two main attacks, the other being charging. He is only capable of these two forms of attack until later in the series when other breath types are introduced such as Ice, Electricity, and Bubble.

Throughout the original series, Spyro has been armed with the power to breath fire. This typical dragon ability has evolved over time to include mastery of other elements. These are Ice, Bubble, Electricity, and Wind. However, it was not until the The Legend of Spyro series that the Fire Breath developed different abilities.

The Legend of Spyro series

Main article: Fire (The Legend of Spyro)

The element of Fire was the very first element Spyro learned in the Legend series. The element helps Spyro utilize his Comet Dash and enhancing his fire breath to become more powerful throughout the course of the trilogy.

Skylanders series

Main article: Fire (Skylanders)

In the Skylanders series, although Spyro has the ability to master the other elements of Skylands, he prefers to master Fire. Other Fire-based Skylanders use the element of Fire as well.

Trivia

  • While his games were developed by Insomniac, Spyro's fire blasts came out as fire arrows.
