This page consists of a list of references that involve or invoke the Spyro franchise. Many of them are in the Ratchet & Clank games, another series created by Insomniac Games.
Television
- Stewart Copeland, used a remix of the Wizard Peak theme as the main theme of The Amanda Show. Some parts of the theme of Ice Cavern also got into the show's theme.
- In an ad for Ty the Tasmanian Tiger, Spyro appears in a hospital wing alongside Crash Bandicoot and Sonic the Hedgehog, and all of them are wearing casts. Ty comes into the ward and frightens the trio. It is heavily implied that Ty beat up and hospitalized all three of them.
Video games
- In Asterix & Obelix XXL 2, one of the levels has a billboard of Spyro wearing a gladiator helmet, and there is a ship on Pirate Island that is designed to resemble Spyro.
- In Ratchet & Clank (2016 video game), there is a poster about a space moose in purple armor named Speero, whose name sounds similar to Spyro's.
- In World of Warcraft, a Dragonkin Battle Pet called Spyragos is based on Spyro.
- In Astro Bot, Spyro is one of the unlockable bots in the game. When Astro interacts with Spyro with a punch, Spyro breathes harmless fire on Astro in retaliation.
