Template:CharacterboxCoward Rhynocs are Rhynoc enemies that can be found in Sunny Villa, in the Spyro: Year of the Dragon.

Appearance

In the original trilogy, they are Rhynocs of very short stature, who wear a very simple olive green Roman skirt, an earth-colored toga-style shirt with gray details and gold-colored epaulettes. They wear a golden helmet and a small shield. His skin is light lavender and with huge feet.

In the Reignited Trilogy, they are still shorter in stature, but wear a Roman skirt made up of several folds of leather with gold details, light gold armor with a silver clasp. On their shoulders they wear silver-colored epaulettes and a bronze and gold gladiator helmet. They carry a wooden shield with gilding. They are the only cross-legged Rhynocs and are deep purple in color.

Attack

They do not harm Spyro and either will be forced to run away from Spyro's distance or cower on the spot. They posses small shields, but they do not impede charge or flame attacks at all. These are a reference to Common Gnorcs in the first game (as well as the Indigo Lizards from the second game), where they will run away in fear.

Trivia

  • Are the only type of Rhynoc that does not attack Spyro.
    • They could be considered the only friendly Rhynocs, since, despite having weapons, they do not attack in any way, similar to the Submarine Rhynocs.
