Cyril is the Ice Guardian Dragon of the Legend of Spyro series.
Personality
Cyril, a coldly confident and predominatly prideful dragon, he constantly brags about supposedly royal ancestry. He is brimming with pride and arrogance, claiming that his lineage is that of some long forgotten yet great dragons. He does not hold his tongue when speaking and he can often be sarcastic, Volteer usually being the target of these remarks due to the electric Guardians incessant babbling. Despite his short comings, however, he knows when he should swallow his pride and do the right thing, admitting that Spyro is the way forwards and that he and his fellow Guardians must step aside.
Story
A New Beginning
Cyril was one of the four Guardians who guarded the Dragon eggs inside the Dragon Temple. When the Temple was under attack by the Dark Master's army, Cyril fought alongside with Volteer and Terrador, to defend the Temple. When Ignitus came back, Cyril and the other Dragon Guardian had already suffered defeat..
Cyril fought alongside with the Dragon Army to fight against the dark army, led by a large black Dragon named Cynder. Cynder managed to take down all the Dragons and captured the Guardians except Ignitus. Cynder took Cyril to Tall Plains so she can drain his power of ice into a crystal.
Spyro eventually rescued Cyril and returned to the Temple and trained Spyro the art of ice.
When Spyro was about to go to Cynder's lair, Cyril swallowed a little bit of his pride and said it is time for Spyro to lead and spark hope for the new era.
The Eternal Night
When the Temple was under attack by Gaul's army, Volteer and the others fought back and drove them out. After the invasion, Cyril couldn't believe, as well as the other Guardians, that The Chronicler existed and sent visions to Spyro. Ignitus sent Cyril with Volteer to go to the mainlands to learn what news they can.
Dawn of the Dragon
Cyril waits at the dragon city along with the others for Spyro, Sparx, and Cynder's return. In the dragon city he helped Spyro, Cynder and Sparx by hurrying them across a tilted platform before he used the Ice stream attack on the Golem's tail.
