Frog weeds are the first enemy Spyro faces in The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning when one of them swallowed Sparx. They are plants with some frog-like features like their tongue-like anthers and a pitcher plant mouth that calls to mind a frog's mouth. They are native to the Swamp area.
A relative of the Frog Weed, the Toad Weed makes its appearance in The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night around the Temple grounds.
