Frog Weeds are the first enemy Spyro faces in The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning when one of them swallowed Sparx. They are plants with some frog-like features, and a pitcher plant mouth that calls to mind a frog's mouth. They are native to the Swamp area. They can appear almost anywhere and cause a problem. Spyro an do the pest control by flaming them or head-butting them!
A relative of the Frog Weed, the Toad Weed makes its appearance in The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night around the Temple grounds. Not unlike the Frog Weeds, these can multiply fast, so Spyro should definitely handle the pest control.
