During Spyro's quest to rescue the dragon eggs, he enters Frozen Altars, where he is greeted by Gabrielle, who gifts him with the power of ice breath.

When Grendor froze the fairies in ice crystals, Gabrielle is the first Spyro rescues. She informs Spyro of the Rhynocs when she is freed in Autumn Fairy Home.
