The Monk Colosis are Colosis that debuted in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage!. They apparently live in Colossus. They are monks that have special powers including some telekinesis. They resemble the workers from Idol Springs, only they are orange instead of green and wear different clothes. They later re-appeared in Banzai Speedway as rickshaws.

Story

Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage!

Three Monk Colosi in Colossus were trying to feed a Goat to a Yeti, but instead, he ate one of the monks.

They were afraid of the yeti because of that incident and therefore shut all the doors to keep him trapped.

Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly

They had later taken jobs in Banzai Speedway as rickshaws and were seen running a set path.

Brothers

Harry

Brother Harry is stationed at the point of Spyro's arrival in the world and greets him upon arrival. He tells Spyro that a yeti have been rampaging the city and the Colosi had to shut all the doors to trap him out of fear.

He later took a job in Banzai Speedway of pulling a rickshaw.

Arnie

Brother Arnie told Spyro that by concentrating he should be able to open the door for Spyro, letting him pass through, at which point he began to chant.

He later took a job in Banzai Speedway of pulling a rickshaw.

Clive

Brother Clive rhetorically asks Spyro who needs keys when you can chant, and chants to lower a ground for Spyro to pass through.

He later took a job in Banzai Speedway of pulling a rickshaw.

Curtis

Brother Curtis along with Ned and another Colosi was one of the three Colosi who dared to feed the yeti in the tomb. He chanted to lift the goat.

Brother Curtis tells Spyro to look at what he could do, and began to chant to hover and lower a lift for Spyro to get onto to let him continue.

He later took a job in Banzai Speedway of pulling a rickshaw.

Kipp

Brother Kipp challenges Spyro to two sets of Colossus Hockey, one on his own with a goalkeeper to block his puck, and a one-on-one against a rivalling player, each having a goalkeeper to block the others puck. Kipp awards Spyro with an award for each hockey set he wins.

He later took a job in Banzai Speedway of pulling a rickshaw.

Ned

Brother Ned along with Curtis and another Colosi was one of the three Colosi who dared to feed the yeti in the tomb. He pushed the goat.

Brother Ned meets Spyro near the tomb where the yeti is, and challenges Spyro to kill the yeti, and mocks him that he's probably not up to it. After Spyro killed the yeti, he admits to being wrong, thinking the yeti was tougher than that and mocks him for being all bark, and awards Spyro a talisman and raises the portal back to Summer Forest.

He later took a job in Banzai Speedway of pulling a rickshaw.

Unnamed Brother

This individual was one of the three Colosi who dared to feed the yeti in the tomb, and along with Curtis and Ned he brough a goat over for it, but met a grim fate of being eaten by the yeti instead of the goat. He pulled the goat.

Trivia

  • The Brothers are very similar in appearance to the Foremen of Idol Springs, leading some to believe the two are the same species.
  • Brother Ned's voice clip says "I really think you should kill that yeti", in spite of the text box saying "I really think you should torch that yeti".
  • Brother Curtis may be a nod to the French philosopher René Descartes, who was known for his statement of Cogito ergo sum, or "I do think, therefore I do exist".
