Ripto, a short lizard, is one of Spyro's greatest enemies. He wears a cape and uses a scepter to cast magic in battle. He is a persistant enemy of Spyro, appearing in several games. He has two minions, Crush and Gulp, who serve him and carry out his orders.
He was the main villain in both Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage and Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly.
Biography
A lizard who hated Dragons, Ripto had enlisted Crush and Gulp to help him wage war on their race, before he was accidentally warped to Avalar by The Professor. Upon arrival, he set about enslaving the worlds, despite the Superportal being shut down by the quick thinking of Zoe and Elora, who scattered the orbs across Avalar.
Ripto's reign brought disaster to Avalar, and he was eventually defeated by Spyro, who had been summoned in by The Professor from a portal in Glimmer.
Many years later, Ripto succesfully attacked the Dragon Realms, scattering the Dragonflies far and wide. Once gaain, he was foiled by Spyro.
