Spyro: Shadow Legacy is a video game released for the Nintendo DS in 2005. It was the last game of the main Spyro series until the release of Spyro Reignited Trilogy in 2018; in the interim, the series was rebooted with The Legend of Spyro trilogy. The game features a hybrid of action and role-playing gameplay, a departure from earlier Spyro games. Spyro: Shadow Legacy received average reviews from critics. The game is set after the events of A Hero's Tail.
