Spyro: Advance is the Japanese name of the Spyro spin-off series, consisting primarily of Gameboy Advance games and also including some mobile phone games. The series is unnamed in other countries.
Continuity
The plotline is an alternate canon continuing from Spyro: Year of the Dragon; it does not include events from Enter the Dragonfly, A Hero's Tail, or Shadow Legacy. The events depicted in the Spyro: Advance series are not considered to be part of the Spyro canon. However, since they cannot be grouped in the Legend of Spyro series, they are considered to be part of the Spyro the Dragon series.
